Software Patents: News and Chronology

El Consell de la Unió Europea (CEU) proposa de reescriure alguns articles de la proposta CEC/BSA del 2002-02-20 per tal de tenir en compte diverses crítiques fetes per delegacions nacionals al Council's Intellectual Property Working Party, un grup de treball composats per delegats de les administracions estatals de patents. Aquesta contra-proposta la van fer els delegats de Dinamarca, és a dir, de l'Oficina Danesa de Patents (DKPTO), que presideix el grup de treball durant el segon semestre de 2002. L'informe és el subjecte de decisió a la sessió del 2002-10-03 a Brusel·les. Presentem l'informe en comparació tabular amb l'original de la proposta original CEC/BSA de 2002-02-20. Sembla evident que la proposta de la DKPTO, mentre enforteix l'èmfasi retòric a la %(q:contribució tècnica), crea ambigüitats addicionals i, en efecte, només eixampla enormement l'abast de patentabilitat.
